- Your numen only touches the accounts you connect, and only to do the work you ask it to do.
- We never sell your data, never use it for advertising, and never use it to train AI models.
- You can disconnect any account at any time, and ask us to delete everything.
01Who we are
Numen LLC ("Numen," "we," "us") builds and operates dedicated AI agents ("numens") for businesses. This policy explains what information we handle when you use our website at numen.build, our dashboard, and the agent we build and run for you (together, the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to this policy and to our Terms of Service.
02What we collect
Information you give us
- Contact and account details: your name, business name, email address, phone number, and billing details.
- Messages and instructions: what you and your team send your numen by text, iMessage, email, or the dashboard, plus files and photos you share with it.
- Business context: prices, processes, preferences, and other details you give us so your agent works the way you do.
Information from people your numen talks to
Your numen may exchange messages with your customers, crew, and contacts on your behalf. Those conversations are processed to do the work you've asked for, and are handled as your business data under this policy.
Information collected automatically
When you visit numen.build, our hosting provider records basic technical data such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested, for security and reliability. The dashboard uses a session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking.
03Connected accounts
You can connect third-party accounts so your numen can work in them. We only access an account after you (or someone authorized for it) sign in and approve access, and access is limited to what's needed for the tasks you've asked for.

We store the access tokens these services issue, encrypted, so your numen can keep working without asking you to sign in every time. You can revoke access at any time from that service's own security settings, or by asking your numen or us to disconnect it.
04Google user data
Numen's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Specifically, for data we receive from Google Workspace APIs (Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Sheets, Tasks):
- We use it only to provide and improve the user-facing features you've asked your numen to perform.
- We do not transfer it to others except as needed to provide those features, to comply with law, or as part of a merger or acquisition with notice to you.
- We do not use it for advertising, and we do not sell it.
- We do not use it to develop, improve, or train generalized artificial intelligence or machine learning models.
- No person at Numen reads it unless you've given us permission for specific messages (for example, to fix a problem you reported), it's needed for security or to comply with law, or it has been aggregated and anonymized for internal operations.
05How we use information
- To run your numen and perform the tasks you and your authorized team ask of it.
- To set up, support, and improve your agent, including your dedicated builder reviewing how it's performing for you.
- To bill you, communicate with you about the Service, and respond to requests.
- To keep the Service secure, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations.
We do not sell personal information, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, or use your business data to build products for anyone else.
06AI processing
Your numen is powered by large language models from third-party AI providers. To answer a request, the relevant content (for example, the email you asked it to reply to) is sent to the model provider for processing and the result comes back to your agent. We use providers under terms or settings that do not allow them to use this content to train their models, and we send only what a task requires.

08Retention & deletion
We keep information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. Your numen keeps conversation history and notes so it remembers how you work.
- Disconnecting an account revokes our access token and stops all further access to that account right away.
- Deletion requests: email us and we will delete your data, including data received from connected accounts, within 30 days, except what we're legally required to keep (such as billing records).
- When you cancel, we delete your agent's data within 30 days of the end of service unless you ask us to export it first.
09Security
Each numen runs on dedicated hardware we operate, not a shared multi-tenant chatbot. Data is encrypted in transit, credentials and access tokens are stored in an encrypted vault, and access inside Numen is limited to the people who build and support your agent. No system is perfectly secure, but we'll notify you without undue delay if a breach affects your information.
10Your choices and rights
You can ask to access, correct, export, or delete your information, or to disconnect any account, at any time. Depending on where you live (for example, California), you may have additional rights under local law, including the right not to be discriminated against for using them. To make a request, contact us below. We may need to verify your identity first.
11Everything else
Children
The Service is for businesses and is not directed to children under 16. We don't knowingly collect their information.
Where data is processed
We are based in the United States and process information in the United States.
Changes
If we change this policy in a material way, we'll update the date above and tell you directly before the change takes effect.
